Discover’s usual discount on Airbnb cards is only 5%, so this is a significant improvement.

Discover Cashback Bonus deals are listed as a 15% bonus but, in reality, they give you a 15% discount, meaning that a $170 in DC could be redeemed for $200 worth of gift cards (as opposed to $170 buying $195.50 worth of Airbnb if they processed it as a bonus).

This isn’t quite as big a discount as you can get with other retailers. Stephen notes that Nike at 20% off would actually be a better deal if you’re planning on reselling the GC. That said, if you’re sitting on a small mountain of Discover Cash and have any Airbnb plans coming up, this could be a great redemption.
