After purchasing the Riviera and demolishing it to make way for an expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the LVCVA has been trying to sell the Strip front parcel for several years. Last year their buyer backed out, but another group is coming in to purchase the former Riviera land. They are familiar with Las Vegas and already own other properties on the Strip.
In other news David Blaine injured himself during his recent show at his residency in Resorts World. Doctors came up to rescue him, but it turns out this isn’t his first injury during this run.
