We are excited to let you know that the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card‘s bonus has been elevated to 80,000 Ultimate Rewards points. We hoped many of you jump on this opportunity, a lot of the staff did last time. If the CSP is on your radar, now is the time to go.
This is an incredible opportunity. Although there are other Chase cards offering around the same number of Chase Ultimate Rewards points as a bonus, those are typically business cards with a higher minimum spend requirement.
Given points on the Chase Sapphire Preferred are worth 1.25 cents each when redeemed for travel in the Chase travel portal, that makes this bonus worth, at a minimum, $1,000 in travel.
If you’re under 5/24, don’t pass up this chance.
There’s a lot of great ways to use Chase Ultimate Rewards points. You could use them for a few nights at one of Hyatt’s all-inclusive resorts, or use them to fly in to Europe and back.
Now, I know some of you might be pretty bummed with this if you recently opened a Chase Sapphire Preferred card with a lower bonus. This is one of those situations where you’ll have to lick your wounds and understand you still got a great elevated bonus that is more than what is normally offered on the card.
I wouldn’t anticipate a higher offer on the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card or one that comes even close to it for awhile. If you haven’t opened a Sapphire product of any kind in the past 48 months, and you’re below 5/24, now is the time to jump all over the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
